Wedding & Events Executive – Kilkenny €37k

We are currently recruiting for our clients in a busy 4* property. This role will support the Event Manager and other team members, organising all upcoming Weddings and Events.

 

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer all incoming wedding enquiries and schedule hotel show arounds.
  • To sell all meeting and event services as well as all products and services provided by the hotel.
  • To manage and coordinate all meetings and events in the hotel, from enquiry stage through to the event.
  • Deliver high level of service in all meeting and events.
  • Carry out daily walks of the Banquet rooms & Event spaces to ensure all is of the highest standards.
  • To assist with all event planning day to day, but also monthly and quarterly, ensuring that full equipment and staffing levels are as required in conjunction with the hotel Food & Beverage team
  • Monitoring all details on function sheets is accurate, correct and concise allowing for proper execution of all events.
  • To be the first point of contact for all enquiries via telephone, e-mail and social media and to respond to all enquiries in a timely manner.
  • Assist and manage the availability and co-ordination of the hotel function diary within the strategy of the hotel.
  • Preparing and updating menus, floor plans and table plans for all functions
  • To be pro-active and use your initiative in generating sales.
  • Arrange and conduct show-arounds.
