Introduction
A luxury four-star resort in Co. Laois is seeking a talented Sous Chef to support the culinary leadership team across multiple dining outlets. The role offers the chance to contribute to a high-performing kitchen focused on fresh, locally inspired cuisine and refined presentation.
Responsibilities

Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations across restaurants, banqueting, and events.

Oversee food preparation, quality control, and presentation standards.

Supervise and mentor junior chefs, maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.

Assist with menu planning, stock control, and food cost management.

Ensure full compliance with HACCP and health and safety procedures.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel or fine-dining environment.

Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

A passion for high-quality food and creative presentation.

Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
