Overview
As Sous Chef, you’ll play a pivotal role in enriching the current culinary offering. Working alongside the Head Chef, you’ll aid in developing exciting new menus across all service points – breakfast, lunch, dinner, and gluten-free options – with a focus on contemporary, high-quality dishes that reflect both classic and modern influences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in crafting and refining menu items, from hearty breakfasts to sophisticated dinner offerings.

  • Lead kitchen operations during service, ensuring consistency, taste, and timely delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with the culinary team to cater for special dietary requests (vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free).

  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen organisation.

  • Support procurement and inventory management to optimize ingredient freshness and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef in a dynamic hotel or upscale restaurant environment.

  • Strong understanding of diverse culinary styles and dietary accommodations.

  • Leadership, organization, and menu development expertise.
