Senior F&B Duty Manager – Westmeath Hotel – €36k

We are currently recruiting a senior F&B Duty Manager for our client based in a 4* Hotel.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise all food and beverage operations, ensuring top-quality service across restaurants, bars, room service, and events.

• Manage staff schedules, breaks, and coverage to ensure smooth service.

• Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests promptly and professionally.

• Oversee stock levels, ordering, and inventory management.

• Lead, train, and motivate food and beverage staff, providing guidance on service techniques and product knowledge.

• Conduct performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback for team development.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene standards, and local regulations.

• Manage department costs, monitor waste, and support budget control.

• Liaise with kitchen, service staff, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

• Ensure all guest information (VIPs, dietary needs) is communicated effectively to the team.

Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in food and beverage management or supervision, ideally in a hotel or large-scale hospitality setting.

• Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

• Knowledge of food safety, health regulations, and licensing.

• Basic financial acumen, including budgeting and cost control.

• A degree or diploma in hospitality, food and beverage management, or a related field.

• A customer-focused, positive attitude with strong problem-solving skills.
