Role Overview
As Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales and marketing plans to maximise occupancy, increase brand visibility, and grow revenue across all market segments. This is a key leadership role requiring a proactive, creative, and commercially focused professional.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to achieve revenue targets
- Manage and grow corporate, leisure, and group business segments
- Identify new business opportunities and build strong client relationships
- Oversee digital marketing, social media, and online presence
- Collaborate with revenue management to optimise pricing and promotions
- Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights
- Lead, mentor, and support the sales and marketing team
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and regular performance reports
Requirements
- Proven experience in a Sales & Marketing role within the hotel or hospitality industry (4-star experience preferred)
- Strong commercial awareness and track record of achieving targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Experience with digital marketing tools and CRM systems
- Ability to work independently and as part of a leadership team
- Highly organised with strong analytical skills
- Degree or qualification in Marketing, Business, or related field (preferred)
