Restaurant Manager – South Dublin

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Restaurant Manager for our client, a busy Gastro Bar opertation in South/West Dublin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming customers, orchestrating efficient order of service, and managing the floor team.To effectively supervise service in the restaurant 
  • To carry out skills training for all team members to ensure a consistent level of service, standards and skills are maintained. 
  • Collaborating closely with the Head Chef on menus, specials, and overall service refinement.To prepare effective rosters 
  • To maintain crockery, cutlery and linen stocks to par stock level and ensure all measures are implemented to control breakages/loss
  • Oversee booking system and group reservations 
  • To identify training requirements for team members and develop appropriate actions to meet these 
  • To be responsible for wine stocks and ensure agreed control procedures are maintained 
  • To ensure that all food leaving the kitchen is of agreed standard

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a busy property
  • Leadership prowess and a genuine passion for creating exceptional dining experiences.
  • Sound knowledge and passion for food & beverage
  • To oversee the day to day running of the food and beverage
  • Knowledge of Standards of Service
  • Previous experience with KPI’s, budgets, stock control, and forecasting
  • Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of performance
  • Excellent customer service skills
