Restaurant General Manager – Daytime

We are currently recruiting for an experienced General Manager for our client, an established restaurant based in Dublin City Centre.

Salary: €50-55k plus bonus

Hours: Predominantly Monday to Friday (with flexibility needed)

Location: Dublin City Centre

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including staffing, budgeting, inventory, and customer service.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of front-of-house and back-of-house staff to ensure a high level of service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales, improve operational efficiency, and maximise profitability.
  • Maintain high standards of food quality, cleanliness, and safety.
  • Foster a positive and engaging work environment, promoting teamwork and motivation.
  • Handle customer feedback and resolve issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with hiring, scheduling, and performance management of staff.
  • Monitor and manage restaurant financials, including budgets, payroll, and inventory control.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in restaurant management, hospitality or corporate catering
  • Proven leadership abilities with experience managing and motivating a team.
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L management, and cost control.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
