A well-established hotel with multiple dining outlets and a busy events operation is seeking a talented Pastry Chef to join its culinary team. This role is ideal for a creative and organised pastry professional who enjoys producing high-quality desserts and baked goods within a structured, high-volume kitchen environment.
As a Pastry Chef, your responsibilities will include:
- Prepare and produce pastries, desserts, and baked goods to consistent quality standards
- Support daily pastry production across restaurant, afternoon service, and events
- Maintain presentation, portioning, and recipe consistency
- Assist with ordering, stock rotation, and ingredient control
- Support the training and guidance of junior pastry staff
- Ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, and hygiene standards
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef
- Strong knowledge of baking, dessert production, and pastry techniques
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Passion for pastry and continuous skill development
