Introduction:
Our client, a luxurious 4-star, resort is looking for a talented Pastry Chef to join its culinary team. In this role, the Pastry Chef will create high-quality pastry, bakery, and dessert items for the hotel’s restaurants, special events, and banqueting functions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage pastry prep, baking cycles, and daily production to meet demand.

  • Maintain strict hygiene and food safety standards (HACCP) in the pastry section.

  • Control ingredient costs, reduce waste, and order supplies for the pastry kitchen.

  • Work closely with the Executive Chef and culinary team on menu development, especially for special events and banquets.

  • Train and develop junior staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Pastry Chef in a hotel, patisserie, or high-volume kitchen

  • Strong technical knowledge.

  • Excellent organisation and time management skills to coordinate production flow

  • Creativity, attention to detail, and a passion for pastry arts.

  • Good knowledge of food safety and HACCP principles.
