We are currently seeking an experienced Food & Beverage General Manager to lead a high-profile, multi-site foodservice operation based on a large and vibrant university campus in Galway.
Location: Galway
Salary: €42k
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-4pm

This is a senior, hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee five food & beverage outlets, manage large-scale hospitality and events, and lead a high-performing team of managers and staff.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations across multiple outlets plus conference and event catering

Lead, train, and develop a large catering team

Collaborate with head office departments (HR, Finance, Business Development)

Work with culinary teams on menu development and innovation

Manage client relationships and liaise on conference and hospitality services

Ensure compliance with food safety, health & safety, and hygiene regulations

Manage financial performance including payroll, stock, cost control, and reporting
-
Maintain high service standards through adherence to SOPs and daily checklists

Drive business development through new promotions, pricing, and events
-
Uphold excellent client and customer satisfaction at all levels
The Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience in a similar senior catering/hospitality role

Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills

Results-oriented with strong financial acumen

Up to date with food trends and customer service best practice

Experience managing large teams and multi-site operations

Excellent relationship builder – both with clients and internal stakeholders

Working knowledge of HR processes, compliance, and reporting systems

A proactive, hands-on manager who leads by example
