Responsibilities
As Leisure Centre Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the leisure and fitness facilities, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for members and guests. You’ll be responsible for driving membership growth, managing staff performance, and upholding health and safety standards.

Lead, motivate, and train leisure centre staff

Manage pool, gym, and wellness area operations

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer care

Oversee membership sales, renewals, and engagement initiatives

Monitor budgets, payroll, and operational costs

Coordinate maintenance, inspections, and compliance procedures
Requirements
To succeed as a Leisure Centre Manager, you’ll bring:

Previous management or supervisory experience in a leisure, fitness, or hospitality environment

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Proven experience managing budgets and KPIs

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Recognised qualification in fitness, leisure, or pool operations (e.g. RLSS, ITEC, or equivalent)
