Junior Chef de Partie
Salary: €30k
Location: Kildare
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of dishes within your section
- Maintain high food standards in both à la carte service and event catering
- Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop new dishes and menus
- Prepare ingredients and support other sections as needed during busy periods
- Follow kitchen procedures for food hygiene, storage, and health & safety
- Help set up and close down sections efficiently and hygienically
- Contribute to smooth service during weddings and events, including off-site functions
- Maintain a clean and organised workstation
Candidate:
- Previous kitchen experience (1+ year preferred, ideally in a gastropub or event setting)
- Culinary qualification or formal training (preferred but not essential)
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work under pressure and maintain standards during busy services
- A keen eye for detail and passion for fresh, seasonal food
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and longer shifts during events
- Level 2 Food Safety & Hygiene Certificate.
