Burren Amber is currently recruiting for a Head Pastry Chef to join the Pastry team of a busy 4* Hotel in Kildare, the successful candidate will assist in the management of the team and department.
The successful candidate will have an abundance of knowledge of all pastry aspects, but most important have excellent management skills.
The Pastry Department functions as a production kitchen, making all the items daily from scratch.
Previous experience as a Sous Chef in similar hotels is mandatory for success in this role.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognized qualification in culinary arts and/or have at least 2 years’ experience in 4 star hotels or quality focused restaurants in a similar people management capacity.
