Head Chef – Kilkenny

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head Chef for our client, a beautiful 4* Property in Kilkenny.
This role may suit a strong Sous Chef looking to take the next step in their career.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the kitchen operation including operational, quality and administrative functions and ensure food is of the finest quality and cooked to perfection in all departments.
- It is key that you have a great understanding of seasonal/current food trends in the market
- Have an understanding of menu costing and how to deliver GP.
- Maintain a high level of food quality which will exceed guest’s expectations with every dish.
- Collaborate with the Executive Head Chef and senior team in the compilation of creative and innovative menus.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous Head Chef or Sous Chef experience in a busy Hotel or similar property
- Experience in a 4* property is desirable
- People leadership, mentoring, coaching and development experience.
