Are you an experienced Head Chef ready to take on a high-profile leadership role in one of Galway’s most exciting venues? Our client, a leading name in the food and hospitality industry, is seeking a dynamic culinary professional to lead operations at a flagship multi-use stadium.

This venue hosts everything from major sporting events to corporate functions and community gatherings. As Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences—ranging from day-to-day café service to high-end banqueting and player-focused nutrition.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and manage a busy kitchen team.

  • Deliver innovative, high-quality menus that champion local, seasonal, and sustainable produce.

  • Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including stock management, supplier relations, and equipment maintenance.

  • Ensure HACCP standards are fully implemented and adhered to.

  • Collaborate with management to deliver on budgets, targets, and client expectations.

  • Play a central role in hosting corporate, hospitality, and special events.

  • Recruit, train, roster, and develop your team to maximise productivity and performance.

The Ideal Head Chef:

  • At least 5 years’ experience as Head Chef or in a senior kitchen management role.

  • Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills.

  • Proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver results.

  • Passion for innovation, quality, and sustainability.
