Field Service Technician (Electronics & IT)

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Field Service Technician to be the hands-on problem-solver for gaming and IT systems. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and critical repair of the hardware and software that powers our operations. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and maintain gaming machines, computer systems, and AV equipment.
  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues, including hardware faults (PCBs, wiring, power supplies) and software problems (OS, applications).
  • Perform component-level electronics repair, including soldering on circuit boards.
  • Provide clear and friendly technical support and guidance to non-technical staff.
  • Manage your workload effectively to minimise system downtime across multiple sites.
  • Maintain accurate logs of all maintenance, repairs, and incidents.
  • Manage stock levels for spare parts and essential components.
  • Uphold the highest standards of health and safety while working with electrical systems.
  • Travel to other properties.

Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience in a hands-on technical repair role (e.g., PC/laptop repair, electronics technician, field service engineer).
  • Strong diagnostic skills in both hardware and software.
  • Proficiency in soldering and carrying out component-level repairs on PCBs.
  • Full comfort and experience working safely with mains voltage (230V) systems.
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • A valid driving licence and access to your own transport.
  • A proactive, self-motivated attitude with a genuine passion for technology.
  • Basic knowledge of database or programming languages.
