Hours: Daytime, 5 days over 7
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Head Chef for our client, to lead the culinary team at a leading private hospital in Limerick. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented chef who takes pride in creating nutritious, high-quality, and beautifully presented food that enhances the patient and visitor experience.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead and inspire a dedicated kitchen team to deliver exceptional food standards across all services – patient meals, staff dining, and hospitality catering.

Develop and oversee innovative, nutritious, and well-balanced menus in line with dietary requirements and hospital standards.

Ensure compliance with all food safety, hygiene, and HACCP regulations.

Manage budgets, food costs, and supplier relationships effectively.

Drive excellence in service, presentation, and consistency across all meals.

Work closely with the clinical nutrition and management teams to maintain the highest standards of quality and care.
The Ideal Candidate:

Fully qualified chef with extensive experience in high-volume catering or healthcare/hospitality settings.

Proven track record in kitchen leadership and menu development.

Excellent communication, organisational, and people-management skills.

Strong understanding of special dietary requirements and nutritional standards.
