Duty Manager

The Duty Manager will oversee service delivery across all departments, ensuring smooth coordination, excellent guest experiences, and effective team support in a busy and varied hotel environment.

Responsibilities

  • Act as manager on duty, leading daily operations across Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, and Events.

  • Support bar, restaurant, and event teams to deliver consistent guest service.

  • Oversee conference & banqueting setups, turnarounds, and service standards.

  • Respond to guest concerns promptly and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

  • Liaise with all departments to ensure seamless communication and handovers.

  • Monitor compliance with health, safety, and licensing requirements.

  • Conduct shift briefings and ensure operational standards are upheld.

Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in a Duty Manager role in a 4-star hotel or higher.

  • Strong Food & Beverage background with event experience.

  • Front Office knowledge a strong advantage.

  • Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.

  • Flexible with working hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

  • Familiarity with hotel systems (Hotsoft) an advantage.
