Director of Sales €70K+

We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client in the South Dublin area for a Director of Sales.

As  Director of Sales, you will report to the General Manager.  You will guide and manage hotel operations effectively, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, strategic growth, and high-performance standards while fostering a positive work environment and driving financial success. There is a wonderful benefit package available for the right candidate.

Your Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations of the sales and marketing department to maximise revenue and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct sales activities, including lead generation, meetings, contract negotiations, and trade shows.
  • Track corporate accounts monthly to monitor performance and address declines.
  • Manage Corporate and Consortia RFPs for increased hotel participation.
  • Analyse GDS reports to enhance business strategies, focusing on meetings and conferences.
  • Provide performance reports to the General Manager and Central Office.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and forecasts with management.

 

 

What You Will Need:

 

  • 2 to 3 years of experience in a Senior sales role, preferably in a hotel or customer-focused environment.
  • A creative thinker with an outgoing personality, capable of building new relationships and maintaining existing ones.
  • Proven experience in effective people management within a team environment.
  • Sales-focused, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide clear reports to clients and colleagues.
  • Confident, ambitious, and proactive in approach.
