Chef de Partie (Staff Accommodation Available)

Salary: €37k

Location: Kildare/Meath

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards in your assigned section.
  • Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes, particularly for banquets and wedding events.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop seasonal menus and event-specific offerings.
  • Maintain stock levels, complete food orders, and manage mise en place efficiently.
  • Follow hygiene, health, and safety guidelines at all times (HACCP compliant).
  • Train and supervise Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters as required.
  • Support kitchen operations during high-volume periods such as weddings and special events.
  • Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment with professionalism and a proactive attitude.

 

Candidate:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
  • Experience working in high-volume kitchens, preferably in hotels or banqueting environments.
  • Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
  • Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain high standards during busy service.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Flexible with working hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
