Title: Bar & Restaurant Manager
Salary: €40k
Location: Westmeath
Duties & Responsibilities:
- To provide excellent service in both the Bar and Restaurant.
- To ensure you are up to date on the daily menus and wine offerings to ensure you can make suitable recommendations and answer any guest questions and queries.
- To keep traceability of all the beverages, make sure they are posted onto the proper room and to ensure the equipment is controlled and properly used.
- Ensures that F&B team consistently maintain a high level of quality service to restaurant, bar and lounge patrons.
- Complete stocktakes as and when required.
- To work closely with the mixologist, maintain and elevate our beverage list.
- Ensure the bar and pre-dinner station is set and the appropriate glassware and equipment are available and polished.
- Make sure all menus are up to date, in good order and priced correctly showing the correct grammar and presentation.
- Plan, organise, control and review all service and systems to provide the best possible beverage service to guests.
- Assist with opening and/or closing duties following all standards and procedures in place
- Share with and train other staff member’s knowledge on beverage, food, cheese and wine by the glass offerings.
Candidate:
- Excellent knowledge of food & beverage including knowledge of wine/whiskey/Cocktails.
- A personable, charismatic and well-rounded hotelier preferably with supervisory & leadership. experience within a hotel background.
- Professional, well-groomed and presentable.

- A great team player that can motivate and lead staff members.
