Burren Amber is delighted to partner with a premier hospitality venue in the heart of Cork City to recruit an experienced and energetic Bar & Restaurant Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate food and beverage professional to lead a dedicated team in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Operations: Oversee the smooth running of both the bar and restaurant floor, ensuring exceptional service delivery during all shifts.

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and motivate a front-of-house team, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.

  • Stock & Margin Control: Manage stock levels, inventory, and wastage to ensure departmental profitability and high-quality standards.

  • Guest Relations: Maintain a strong floor presence, building rapport with guests and handling feedback with genuine warmth and professionalism.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Proven management or strong supervisory experience within a busy bar and restaurant setting.

  • A deep passion for hospitality, excellent drink and food knowledge, and a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire a team during peak service hours.

  • Excellent communication skills and a naturally welcoming, customer-focused approach.
