Assistant Spa Manager

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Assistant Spa Manager to support the Spa and Health Club Manager in the smooth and successful running of our spa operations. This is a dynamic, hands-on role that blends leadership responsibilities with active treatment delivery. The successful candidate will be expected to perform spa treatments at least two days per week, ensuring a consistent and high-quality guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead, inspire, and support the spa team to deliver outstanding service and memorable guest experiences.
• Perform a range of spa treatments (including massage, facials, and nail services) a minimum of two days per week.
• Assist in the daily management of spa operations, including scheduling, stock control, and budget oversight.
• Uphold and promote the highest standards of professionalism, hygiene, and customer care.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management of spa staff.
• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance guest experience and operational efficiency.
• Drive treatment and retail sales, consistently meeting or exceeding targets.
• Handle guest feedback with professionalism and a solution-focused approach.
• Maintain accurate records and reporting through spa software systems.
• Contribute to service innovation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Qualified and experienced spa therapist with a proven track record in a 4-star or luxury spa environment.
• Confident in delivering a wide range of treatments.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Familiarity with VOYA and Yonka product ranges is advantageous but not essential.
• Experience with HotSoft and/or Phorest Spa software is preferred.
• Demonstrated success in driving retail and treatment sales.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills.
