Revenue Manager

Wicklow, Full Time

I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of my client, a wonderful 4* property in the Wicklow area for an experienced Revenue Manager to join their financial department. The role of the Revenue Manager is an extremely important one to the property.

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic hospitality professional who is passionate about maximising revenue across bedrooms, weddings, events, conferences, and ancillary hotel services.

Working closely with the Sales, Reservations, Weddings & Events, and Marketing teams, the successful candidate will play a key role in driving occupancy, average rate, profitability, and overall commercial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective revenue and yield strategies to maximise hotel profitability.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, demand patterns, and pricing strategies.
  • Manage room inventory, pricing, and distribution across all sales channels.
  • Produce regular forecasting, budgeting, and performance reports for senior management.
  • Work closely with the Reservations team to optimise conversion, availability, and booking performance.
  • Partner with the Weddings & Events team to develop pricing strategies and revenue opportunities for weddings, conferences, and special events.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to identify new business opportunities and improve commercial performance.
  • Support the Marketing team with promotional campaigns, digital marketing initiatives, and demand-generation strategies.
  • Analyse booking pace, pick-up trends, and event enquiries to support strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure all revenue systems and reporting tools are maintained accurately and efficiently.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience asca Revenue Manager, Yield Manager, or Commercial Manager role within a hotel environment.
  • Strong understanding of hotel revenue management principles and sales operations.
  • Experience working with reservations, weddings, events, and marketing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and forecasting skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficient in hotel PMS, channel management systems, and revenue management software.
  • Commercially focused with a proven track record of driving revenue growth.
  • Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a collaborative management team.
