Burren Amber Recruiters are delighted to partner with a premier hotel property in Limerick to appoint a dynamic and results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager.

The successful candidate will be focused on retaining and maintaining existing business while possessing the drive and ability to attract and develop new business opportunities. Working closely with the General Manager, you will oversee the development and implementation of the comprehensive sales and marketing strategy to drive revenue and elevate the hotel’s market presence.

Main Duties:

• Support the General Manager in achieving and exceeding budgeted sales targets.

• Conduct confident face-to-face sales calls and deliver tailored presentations to potential clients using advanced presentation skills.

• Drive proactive telesales initiatives with both current and future clients.

• Identify and analyse local and regional competition.

• Carry out market research and analyse business statistics from both the portfolio and booking engine, providing actionable recommendations to increase revenue.

• Review, monitor, and improve the hotel’s online presence across the official website and all third-party channels, ensuring optimal positioning.

• Oversee the production of brochures, print materials, stock levels, and hotel photography.

• Maintain an accurate client database and spearhead direct mail-shot programmes in consultation with commercial leadership.

• Manage e-zines, website content, and PPC campaigns.

• Develop and execute a comprehensive social media and digital marketing plan.

• Represent the hotel at domestic and international tradeshows, exhibitions, and networking events.

• Assist with website development, SEO optimization, and Google Analytics tracking.

• Produce detailed weekly reports to support and direct ongoing sales and marketing activities.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Relevant qualification in Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 4 years of experience operating in a Sales & Marketing management role.

• Strong, outgoing personality with exceptional presentation, interpersonal skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

• A proven, verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding tight deadlines and revenue targets.

• Full driving licence and own mode of transport.
