About the Role

On behalf of an exquisite luxury property in Kerry, we are seeking a passionate and meticulous Breakfast & Lounge Manager. This role is perfect for a dedicated hospitality professional who thrives on delivering impeccable service, fostering team development, and ensuring an unforgettable guest experience from the very start of the day.

You will oversee the smooth operation of breakfast, morning room service, and afternoon lounge services, driving the highest operational, safety, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Service Excellence: Lead and manage the daily operations of the breakfast service, morning room service, afternoon lounge, and daytime functions to ensure seamless, world-class guest experiences.

• Team Leadership & Training: Supervise, mentor, and develop the front-of-house team and supervisors; manage scheduling compliance, staff breaks, and ongoing training to promote staff retention.

• Stock & Inventory Control: Oversee the purchasing, monitoring, and management of all breakfast items, crockery, glassware, and utensils.

• Standards & Compliance: Maintain strict adherence to all HACCP protocols, hygiene regulations, and hotel safety legislation.

• Collaborative Management: Partner closely with the Food & Beverage management team and Restaurant Director to report on performance, refine department standards, and coordinate special events.

Requirements

• Experience: Proven track record in a food and beverage leadership role within a luxury hotel or high-end hospitality environment, with an eye for detail.

• Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a strong financial and strategic mindset.

• Attributes: Meticulous attention to detail, a natural ability to connect with people at all levels, and a passion for mentoring a team.

• Flexibility: Ability to work a full-time rostered schedule, including weekends.

• Eligibility: Must currently hold the legal right to live and work in Ireland without restriction.
