Head Chef

We are looking for a head chef for our client. In this position you will manage the team and food production and is carried out to the highest standards. We are looking for a head chef that is creative, passionate about delivering an excellent standard of cuisine and is up to date with current trends. The ideal head chef will be a strong kitchen manager, have excellent communication and financial skills and a volume background.
Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of managing the kitchen areas and personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items to the highest standards
- To lead, motivate and support the team amongst the kitchen and ability to prioritise, organise and delegate work assignments to staff
- Hands on and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and ability to control service from the front to ensure maximum results during peak periods
- To be efficient with all aspects of ordering and assisting with stock takes and controlling set out margins
- Passionate and committed to implementing new menu ideas alongside Executive Chef and continuously striving to offer a point of difference
- To promote positive work relationships with suppliers, service personnel and other departments
- To ensure that HACCP is implemented and documented efficiently, ensuring that all standards are maintained
- Co-ordinates roster scheduling and oversee staff training, productivity and performance
