I am delighted to be recruiting on behalf of my client for a Restaurant Manager for their hotel in the Kilkenny area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee daily front-of-house operations across Breakfast, Afternoon Tea, and Dinner services, ensuring flawless execution at every stage of the guest journey
  • Champion adherence to brand standards, ensuring consistency in service style, presentation, and guest experience throughout the day
  • Maintain a commanding yet approachable floor presence across all service periods
  • Deliver refined and personalised guest engagement, ensuring memorable experiences from breakfast through to evening dining
  • Lead daily pre-service briefings tailored to each service, including menu knowledge, guest preferences, and service choreography
  • Ensure the delivery of breakfast service that reflects attentiveness, efficiency, and warmth
  • Oversee the execution of Afternoon Tea service, ensuring elegance, precision, and adherence to presentation standards
  • Mentor and develop team members to achieve excellence in luxury service etiquette and presentation
  • Collaborate closely with culinary and sommelier teams to deliver cohesive and elevated dining experiences
  • Manage guest feedback and service recovery with discretion, empathy, and professionalism
  • Oversee operational planning, rostering, payroll support, inventory control, and administrative duties with accuracy and efficiency
