A quality-focused hotel with multiple dining outlets is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to support kitchen leadership. This role is ideal for a chef who enjoys leading teams during service while maintaining consistency, standards, and efficient kitchen operations.

Your Responsibilities

As a Sous Chef, your responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Head Chef with daily kitchen operations

  • Lead kitchen teams during service ensuring quality and consistency

  • Assist with menu planning, prep organisation, and service execution

  • Supervise junior chefs and support their development

  • Monitor stock levels, ordering, and food cost control

  • Maintain HACCP and food safety compliance

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or strong Chef de Partie ready to step up

  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • Experience in high-volume kitchen environments

  • Knowledge of food cost control and kitchen operations

  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain standards
