Assistant Manager
We are currently recruiting for a Assistant Manager for our client, we are looking for a passionate manager that has excellent attention to detail, is standard driven, has an excellent food & beverage knowledge and can manage all operational aspects of the outlet. This manager needs to be driven with excellent team management skills and an excellent knowledge of food and beverage and service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead all facets of the Food & Beverage operations, including restaurant and bar.
- To be commercially aware and focused on revenue generation and cost control across all departments.
- Work closely with the Leadership team on the overall strategy of the department.
- Foster a culture and environment of continuous learning and development within the team.
- Have an ability to develop close relationships with suppliers in order to develop a local F&B offering.
- Standards focused with the ability to inspire the F&B team to deliver the same standards.
- Use technology and systems to the departments advantage.
- Lead the F&B team on the management of stock and work closely with the Head Chef on the management of HACCP.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous senior experience in a busy food and beverage operation or complex.
- Must possess excellent organisational skills, strong leadership, and people management skills
- Strong understanding of operational controls, budgeting, payroll, and forecasting
- Must have excellent verbal and written English and a knowledge of the Irish hospitality industry.
