A busy hotel with a strong meetings, weddings, and events offering is seeking an experienced Assistant Banqueting Manager to support the delivery of high-volume events. This role suits a hospitality professional with strong conference and banqueting exposure who is also confident supporting duty management responsibilities across the property.
Your Responsibilities

Support the planning and execution of conferences, weddings, and banqueting events

Supervise event service teams to ensure smooth and professional delivery

Assist with staffing, floor setup, and operational coordination

Act as Duty Manager when required, supporting overall hotel operations

Liaise with kitchen, bar, and events teams to ensure seamless service

Maintain service standards, health, safety, and hygiene compliance
Requirements

Previous experience in banqueting or conference operations

Duty management experience preferred

Strong leadership and organisational skills

Ability to manage high-volume service environments
