We are delighted to be recruiting for our client, a well known property in the South Dublin/Wicklow area for an Operations Manager.
About the Role:
As Operations Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our hotel’s operations, ensuring high standards of service, smooth day-to-day management, and the seamless execution of policies and procedures. You’ll be a key part of our leadership team, deputising for the GM when needed and inspiring our teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support all hotel departments to meet operational goals and maintain high standards.
- Deputise for the General Manager in their absence and implement hotel budgets.
- Ensure guest needs are anticipated and exceeded, handling any complaints professionally.
- Oversee staff training, inductions, and ongoing development programs.
- Drive sales and implement upselling procedures across Food & Beverage, Restaurant, Bar, and Reception.
- Maintain strict adherence to Health & Safety, GDPR, hygiene, and company policies.
- Manage departmental reporting, stock control, wage budgets, and financial procedures.
- Promote team morale through initiatives, communication, and leadership.
- Ensure all hotel systems (Opera, Micros, TMS) are up to date and operating efficiently.
- Attend management meetings, support recruitment, and act as a key point of contact for staff.
