Introduction
A luxury four-star resort in Co. Laois is seeking a talented Sous Chef to support the culinary leadership team across multiple dining outlets. The role offers the chance to contribute to a high-performing kitchen focused on fresh, locally inspired cuisine and refined presentation.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations across restaurants, banqueting, and events.

  • Oversee food preparation, quality control, and presentation standards.

  • Supervise and mentor junior chefs, maintaining a positive and efficient work environment.

  • Assist with menu planning, stock control, and food cost management.

  • Ensure full compliance with HACCP and health and safety procedures.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef or Senior Chef de Partie in a hotel or fine-dining environment.

  • Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills.

  • A passion for high-quality food and creative presentation.

  • Excellent knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards.
