Key Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day delivery of catering services in a busy hospital setting, ensuring smooth, efficient, and compliant operations.

Provide hands-on leadership and guidance to supervisory staff and kitchen teams, fostering consistency and professional growth.

Ensure food service delivery meets both clinical standards and patient wellbeing objectives, with a strong focus on safety and nutrition.

Support team leaders through organisational change, encouraging a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

Act as a key liaison between on-site teams, senior stakeholders, and central support functions to maintain alignment and transparency.

Plan and lead operational briefings and team meetings, promoting clear communication and service coordination.

The Ideal Catering Manager:

Substantial experience in a senior catering, hospitality, or healthcare food service management role.

In-depth knowledge of food hygiene legislation, HACCP protocols, and relevant health and safety procedures.

Proven ability to develop and motivate teams in a fast-paced and regulated environment.

Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the confidence to influence and lead across varying levels.
