Conference & Banqueting Manager

Salary: up to €43,000 DOE
Introduction
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conference & Banqueting Manager to join the management team of a 4-star hotel in Co. Wicklow. The Conference & Banqueting Manager will oversee weddings, events, and banqueting operations, ensuring seamless delivery, high standards, and memorable guest experiences.
Responsibilities

Lead the setup, service, and breakdown of weddings, conferences, and events.

Work closely with the sales and events team to ensure client requirements are met.

Train, motivate, and supervise the banqueting team to deliver excellent service.

Maintain knowledge of menus, pricing, promotions, and competitor activity.

Ensure guest requests are actioned promptly and effectively.

Liaise with all hotel departments to coordinate successful event delivery.

Uphold cleanliness, presentation, and organisational standards in all banqueting areas.

Support with wedding show-arounds and client meetings as required.
Requirements

Proven experience managing weddings, events, or banqueting in a hotel environment.

Strong leadership and team development skills.

Excellent communication and guest service ability.

Highly organised with attention to detail and ability to prioritise.

Confident in administration, reporting, and training documentation.

Flexible with working hours to suit business needs.
Rewards
