Are you an experienced Head Chef ready to take on a high-profile leadership role in one of Galway’s most exciting venues? Our client, a leading name in the food and hospitality industry, is seeking a dynamic culinary professional to lead operations at a flagship multi-use stadium.
This venue hosts everything from major sporting events to corporate functions and community gatherings. As Head Chef, you’ll be responsible for delivering exceptional food experiences—ranging from day-to-day café service to high-end banqueting and player-focused nutrition.
Key Responsibilities

Lead, inspire, and manage a busy kitchen team.

Deliver innovative, high-quality menus that champion local, seasonal, and sustainable produce.

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including stock management, supplier relations, and equipment maintenance.

Ensure HACCP standards are fully implemented and adhered to.

Collaborate with management to deliver on budgets, targets, and client expectations.

Play a central role in hosting corporate, hospitality, and special events.

Recruit, train, roster, and develop your team to maximise productivity and performance.
The Ideal Head Chef:

At least 5 years’ experience as Head Chef or in a senior kitchen management role.

Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills.

Proven ability to perform under pressure and deliver results.
