Key Responsibilities:
- The Director of Sales and Marketing will develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and surpass revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, key accounts, and business partners.
- Manage and grow the customer and contact database across multiple market segments.
- Prepare tailored proposals and campaigns to attract new business and strengthen existing client relationships.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to inform sales strategies and target setting.
- The Director of Sales and Marketing will collaborate with the wider management team, including operations and revenue departments, to coordinate marketing campaigns, promotions, and events.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales and marketing team to deliver exceptional results and professional development.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and marketing plans, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
- Represent the resort at industry trade shows, networking events, and promotional activities.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior sales and marketing role within a 4- or 5-star hospitality environment.
- Third-level qualification in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Excellent organisational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to analyse market trends and implement effective action plans.
