Job Title: Front Office Manager
We’re currently recruiting an experienced Front Office Manager for our client, a well-regarded hotel in Athlone. This is a full-time, on-site position offering up to €40,000 per year. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Front Office Manager will lead a warm and welcoming front desk team, ensuring a seamless guest experience from check-in to check-out.
Responsibilities

Lead the front office team to deliver exceptional service at every guest interaction.

Prepare, implement, and deliver training on SOPs and service standards.

Oversee all arrival and departure procedures to ensure smooth operations.

Manage reservation calls with efficiency, ensuring high levels of guest care.

Attend daily stand-ups and weekly Head of Department meetings.

Coordinate room allocations and liaise with Accommodation for timely readiness.

Actively promote the hotel, its outlets, and local attractions.

Maintain clear and accurate filing and departmental administration.

Recruit and train new members of the front office team.
Requirements

Previous experience as a Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager is essential.

Working knowledge of front office systems, preferably Opera.

Fluent English, both written and spoken.

Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
