We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and innovative Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations at a prestigious four-star property in Kerry. This is a senior leadership role ideal for someone with a refined approach to food, excellent operational oversight, and a proven ability to inspire high-performing kitchen teams in luxury environments.
Responsibilities

Lead the creation and delivery of seasonal, trend-led menus

Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations across all food outlets

Maintain exceptional food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards

Manage kitchen staffing: hiring, training, scheduling, and development

Foster a positive and high-performing kitchen culture

Oversee departmental budgeting, food and labour cost control

Source premium, sustainable ingredients in collaboration with procurement

Ensure full HACCP and food safety compliance

Represent the culinary team during key service periods and events
Requirements
-
10+ years’ progressive culinary experience, including 3–5 years as an Executive Chef in a luxury or five-star setting

Culinary Arts or Hospitality qualification (degree or diploma)

HACCP certification (mandatory)

Strong leadership, communication, and team development skills

Proven ability to manage multiple outlets and high-volume operations

High standards of organisation, consistency, and guest focus

Experience managing budgets, inventory, and supplier relationships
