Sustainability Officer – Dublin €38k

We’re working with a prominent and forward-thinking food services company that is seeking a passionate Sustainability Officer to lead its environmental and sustainability strategy.

Location: Dublin North 

Salary: €38k

Hours: Monday to Friday – Hybrid working

Sector: Food Services / Hospitality 

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sustainability professional to influence business-wide initiatives, drive carbon reduction efforts, and ensure compliance with upcoming CSRD legislation — all while collaborating with internal teams and high-profile clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and evolve the company’s sustainability strategy

• Manage carbon footprint reporting (GHG emissions, SBTi targets)

• Prepare for CSRD compliance via data collection and analysis

• Engage stakeholders across departments and clients

• Champion food waste reduction initiatives

• Chair the internal sustainability committee (including senior execs)

• Coordinate external sustainability certifications and audits

• Oversee key projects with industry partners (e.g., Origin Green)

The Ideal Sustainability Officer:

• 3rd level qualification in sustainability, environmental science, or related field

• Proven experience in GHG reporting (Scopes 1–3) and sustainability frameworks

• Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills

• Hands-on experience working with corporate sustainability data and policies

• Familiarity with Science Based Targets and upcoming ESG legislation
