Banqueting Manager – Kildare Hotel – €40k DOE
We are currently recruiting a Banqueting Manager for our client based in a bustling 4* property.
The ideal candidate will hold experience as banqueting manager or be stepping up from an Assistant’s role.
Duties and Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee all banqueting events from setup to breakdown.

Liaise with clients, sales/events team, kitchen, and other departments to ensure smooth execution of events.

Supervise, train, and motivate the banqueting team, including supervisors, waiting staff, and porters.

Ensure all functions meet hotel brand standards and exceed guest expectations.

Maintain health and safety, food hygiene, and licensing standards in compliance with Irish regulations (e.g., HSE guidelines).

Manage staffing rotas, payroll inputs, and labour costs effectively.

Monitor stock levels and order equipment/supplies as required.

Handle guest feedback or complaints in a professional and efficient manner

Proven track record in managing weddings and large-scale corporate functions.

Strong leadership and team management skills.

Excellent organisational and time management skills.

Ability to remain calm under pressure and deal with last-minute changes.

High attention to detail and commitment to service excellence.

Familiarity with EPOS systems, booking software, and Microsoft Office.

Strong communication skills – verbal and written.
