Chef de Partie (Staff Accommodation Available)

Location: Kildare/Meath
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare, cook, and present dishes to the highest standards in your assigned section.
- Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation across all dishes, particularly for banquets and wedding events.
- Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to develop seasonal menus and event-specific offerings.
- Maintain stock levels, complete food orders, and manage mise en place efficiently.
- Follow hygiene, health, and safety guidelines at all times (HACCP compliant).
- Train and supervise Commis Chefs and Kitchen Porters as required.
- Support kitchen operations during high-volume periods such as weddings and special events.
- Monitor portion and waste control to maintain profit margins.
- Contribute to a positive team environment with professionalism and a proactive attitude.
Candidate:
- Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Commis Chef ready to step up.
- Experience working in high-volume kitchens, preferably in hotels or banqueting environments.
- Strong knowledge of modern cooking techniques and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and maintain high standards during busy service.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Flexible with working hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
