Senior Duty Manager – €40-45k

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Duty Manager for our client, a luxury 4* property in South Dublin.

They are seeking an ambitious, dynamic & self-motivated manager with exceptional experience of directing the F&B team to provide exceptional service with the personal touch with an excellent knowledge of conference and banqueting.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • To manage the smooth and efficient running of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring standards and guest satisfaction are always maintained thus ensuring revenue is maximized.
  • Extensive knowledge of overseeing fine dining restaurants and managing multiple outlets in luxury hotels
  • Create a professional, innovative and inclusive department working closely with the team to provide a seamless experience.
  • Knowledge of menu composition and engineering
  • Ability to convert the knowledge of wines and alcoholic beverages into product sales and service.
  • Knowledge of food & beverage marketing/promotional techniques
  • Knowledge of purchasing, inventory controls, supplies, and equipment
  • Ability to effectively manage labour costs & forecast revenues.
  • Financial management skills e.g., ability to analyse P&L statements, develop operating budgets, forecasting and capital expenditure planning.
  • Strategic planning skills
  • Ability to evaluate business trends, determine applicability to customer profile and modify business strategies accordingly.

Candidate:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ management experience in a 4* star hotel.
  • Strong experience in F&B or C&B.
  • Passionate about food, wine and people.
  • Strong coaching and development skills.
  • Experience in delivering premium service to guests
  • Strong problem-solving skills; encourages new innovative solutions when appropriate.
  • Effective influence skills
  • Strong consensus building skills.
