Reception Manager 4* Property

We are currently recruiting for a Reception Manager for our client, a busy 4* property in Kilkenny. The primary duty will be to direct team members to deliver the highest levels of guest care and proactively anticipate our guest’s every need.
Key duties and responsibilities:
- The successful candidate will assume full responsibility of this busy department
- To manage the correct allocation of room types
- To proactively plan the reception department on a daily, weekly, and annual basis ensuring adequate resources to deliver service levels based on hotel occupancy and trends
- Using training and management influence to continually develop all team members.
- To positively promote the Hotel’s reputation and as a destination of choice for repeat business
Requirements:
- Have previous experience in either Reception or Reservations
- Have working knowledge front office systems
- Possess excellent customer service skills
- Have a mature and pleasant manner for dealing with customers and team members alike
- Be capable of excellent upselling all areas of the Hotel
- Strong team manager
