Title: Pastry Chef

Salary: €30-35k

Location: Tipperary

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of pastry techniques, baking methods, and ingredient functionalities at this level.
  • Attention to detail and a passion for creating visually stunning and delicious desserts.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in pastry production.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Excellent team management skills.
  • Ability to develop menus and work in a team of pastry chefs.

Candidate:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the pastry section of a 5-star hotel or Michelin recommended restaurant preferable.
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Have a desire to progress in the role.
  • Have a strong understanding of baking, especially breads.
  • To be creative in relation to recipes, dishes, and menus.
  • Will work closely with the head chefs to develop new menu items.
  • To be versatile and willing to learn.
