We are recruiting for a Human Resources Manager for a 5* Property
reporting directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities :Manage the Human Resources, Training and Recruitment requirements for the property and to fulfil other administration duties as required.
Main Duties:
Manage all new starters with onboarding documentation and ensure training is completed and ensure Job Chats and Probation Periods are completed and uploaded. Ensure reference checks and administrative tasks on new starters and leavers are completed, creating manual files and uploading onto Alkimii system.
Managing Offboarding of all employees, following up on resignation letters, exit interviews etc
Working with HOD’s and supporting them on best practise, Alkimii Mgmt. and HR issues

Ensure proper implementation of best HR practises in line with current Employment Law
Manage Absences; Sick Leave, Leaves (Maternity, Parental, Paternity etc)
Manage Staff housing with issuing agreements and any issues linking in with Front Office, Housekeeping and staff in house.
Handle all staff grievances and complaints
Support all team members in the disciplinary process, following best practise
Monitor Performance appraisal process and coaching in line with results
Organise GDPR Compliance for all documentation and ensure GDPR policies are followed by HR administration
Ensure all Admin of correspondence for the Human Resources Department is managed. Regret Letters, Bank letters, acknowledgements, memos, reports, forms, training notes etc.
Ensure conducting telephone/emails Reference Checks on prospective employees and obtaining referencing for all employees is completed.
Link in with all HOD’s and provide recruitment plan, ensuring all positions are filled as seasonally needed.
Provide Monthly reports as outlined in your annual goals as set out by General Manager.
Attend the HOD meeting each week, ensuring any issues are addressed
Provide employee engagement and reward schemes
Assisting with the organising of Training Programmes by organising those to attend and in the preparation of training materials and completion upload to Alkimii and any training certificates issued.
Organise and run Recruitment Days, Job Fairs. Ensure advertisement is completed through social media, link in with sales for training.
Continuous assessment of uniform and dress code standards throughout the Hotel and ensuring any fall from standards are dealt with appropriately in accordance with procedures.
To assist with other duties outside of the Human Resources Department as they occur.
Support all mandatory training such as Food Safety Audits and regulations, Manual Handling sign off and Fire Safety updates
To be fully conversant with and adhere to all rules and regulations of the Hotel with special regard to:
a. Hygiene
b. Health & Safety at Work Act
c. Security
To promote the Hotel’s Customer care policy at all times.
To carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by the senior management team.
