Head Chef – Dublin – €50k (Mon-Fri)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Head Chef for our client, a corporate catering unit based in Dublin 4.
Salary: €50k plus bonus
Location: Dublin City Centre
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop menus in line with concepts and quality standards.
- Oversee the Kitchen, ensuring weekly menu preparation, food ordering and stock taking.
- Food innovation and menu engineering.
- Organisation of Kitchen to ensure effective resourcing and competence to deliver daily menu.
- Responsible to ensure that food hygiene standards are implemented, maintained and that all records are completed in line comply with company procedures, E.H.O, Q.A, and H.A.C.C.P requirements
- Management of costs in line with budgetary requirements.
- Conduct continuous reviews of all existing kitchen staff to ensure that they are adequately trained.
- Support to the recruitment, induction and on-going training of Chefs in the unit
The Ideal Candidate:
- 2+ years experience as a Head Chef in a similar role
- Experience in banqueting or corporate catering would be an advantage
- Experience with food costing and menu innovation
- Positive, can do attitude
