Group Sales & Marketing Manager

We are currently recruiting for a Group Sales & Marketing Manager for our client who will have overall responsibility for all Sales & Marketing activities for the group and will be responsible for leading the Sales & Marketing team and will ensure brand effectiveness and will be responsible for maximising revenue opportunities and business development for the group. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior manager looking for a new challenge in their career.

 

Main Duties:

  • Develop a Sales & Marketing strategy for the Group, that supports the group revenue strategy and budget;
  • Design, develop and execute an effective digital marketing strategy for the Group;
  • Design and execute campaigns that will generate revenue and support the properties of the Group in meeting their annual budgets;
  • Ensure brand effectiveness in the marketplace and encourage brand confidence through effective marketing and client relationship management;  
  • To increase overall sales through penetration of the corporate marketplace and booking agents.
  • To encourage a positive culture that promotes teamwork, the achievement of results, innovation and idea generation within the sales and marketing team;
  • To lead, manage and develop the Sales & Marketing team across the Group to ensure all are working in synergy towards property budget and group revenue strategy;
  • To train and grow the Sales & Marketing team encouraging continuous development and progression;
  • To have regular meetings with the Group Revenue Manager encouraging a synergy and common goal approach between the Revenue and Sales & Marketing functions;
  • To aggressively develop the business, exploring new leads, markets, clients.

Requirements:

  • 5 years sales experience within a hotel group;
  • 5 years marketing and digital experience within a hotel group;
  • 5 years’ experience leading and managing a team to achieve results;
  • Third level Sales & Marketing management qualification;
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills;
  • Transport required as there is travel involved.
