General Manager Hospitality – (Mon-Fri) €100k

Dublin City Centre, Full Time

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Hospitality General Manager for our client, a large corporate catering company for their site based in Dublin 4. 

The General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the hospitality establishment, ensuring high standards of guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and financial performance. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies to drive revenue growth and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Manage a team of event coordinators, sales professionals, and hospitality team members to deliver exceptional events
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of events, including catering, audiovisual, and technical services
  • Develop and manage budgets for events, including catering, audiovisual, and technical services. This would involve creating and tracking budgets, identifying areas for cost savings, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and partners to drive business growth and improve services
  • Develop and manage budgets for events, ensuring profitability and cost-effectiveness
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors, identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement
  • Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure efficient and effective event execution
  • Foster a positive work culture that encourages teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and security protocols, as well as local health and sanitation regulations

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in similar role within Hotels, Corporate Catering and Events
  • Proven track record of success in managing large-scale events and leading high-performing teams
  • Strong understanding of event operations, hospitality standards, and customer service principles
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
