General Manager €50k + bonus

We are currently recruiting for a Restaurant General Manager position for our client. The main responsibilities for this role are to assist in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the Restaurant and ensuring all guest requests are met on time. You will also assist in the training, development and motivation of a team as well as supervising the area as required. This is a lead the team by example role offering excellent customer service at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Manages and controls the daily operations of the Restaurant within the policies and guidelines set forth by the company.
• Responsible for labour costs of the site, ensuring the effective scheduling of staff and reviews schedules in terms of coverage and adherence to budget guidelines.
• Understands stock control and addresses any stock issues without delay in a proactive manner.
• Innovative and creative in driving the business and thus increasing revenue.
• Creates an environment which encourages good teamwork and morale among the team and to have pride and commitment in their work.
• Ensure adherence to cash control/security procedures, maintaining inventory, reviewing financial reports.
• Complete financial and personnel/payroll related administrative duties accurately, on time and in accordance with company policies.

Requirements:

• Have a proven track record in a restaurant operation.
• Maintain keen attention to detail at all times
• Must be passionate about working on a restaurant floor and have a hands-on approach to service.
• Must be a people person as this is a customer facing role.
• Have strong leadership skills.
• Strong and proven record with attention to detail whilst carrying out their duties.
• Have experience in managing the recruitment and selection of a successful candidates
