Front Office Supervisor – Kilkenny

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Front Office Supervisor for our client, a beautiful 4* property in Kilkenny.
Key Responsibilities:
- To ensure all standards stated in the S.O.P manuals are adhered to paying particular attention to cash handling procedures.
- To ensure a professional, friendly and efficient manner is portrayed at all times.
- To effectively communicate Guest information, where appropriate, with Management and other departments.
- To liaise closely with other departments and especially accommodation operating a clear line of communication
- To ensure a high standard of customer care is delivered at all times.
- To ensure products and facilities to Guests to assist with up-selling of the Hotel.
- To deal with any guest requests/queries in a polite and attentive manner, dealing with any complaints that may arise
- To allocate room changes in a professional manner noting complaints/comments and special requests from Guest history.
- To ensure the Am and Pm shift duty, as per the checklist are completed correctly.
- To ensure team spirit is high between all staff and contribute as a team member to enhance business and staff morale.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Hotel Front Office experience in a similar role in 4*/5* properties
- Be self-motivated with an ability to work on own initiative
- Knowledge of Guestline package would be an advantage
- Excellent organisational skills with great attention to detail
- Be flexible to work across a range of shifts both midweek & weekends
